Ford GTP-38 & GTP-38R Turbocharger High Spring Rate Wastegate Actuator. This Upgrade Wastgate Actuator allows full wastegate control at elevated boost levels and prevents wastegate "blow off" that inevitably occurs when a stock, or GTP38R Garrett actuator is heavily preloaded.
A "Must Have' upgrade for the Garrett GTPR ball bearing turbo! This Actuator allows you to accurately control boost at pressures 20psi higher then the GTPR or the stock wastegate actuator.
Note; For early 99 applications (built before 12/7/98) we need to know if you have a stock or upgraded turbine housing to match the rod end to the proper wastegate belcrank size! |
